Guided Whitewater Kayak Tour - Private Group (Heidal)

When you have some basic whitewater skills you are ready for a guided tour down a river with class II or III rapids. If you have never paddled before we suggest you start with our Introduction Course or Foundation Course in River Kayaking.
River: Lågen, Otta or Sjoa. (This is decided by the guide on the day depending on flow, the experience of the group etc. Your safety always comes first.)
Duration: 2-3 hours (depending on numbers and flow). This includes a briefing, getting kitted out, driving to the river and back and the tour itself.
Price: 1490 kr per person. Minimum 3 people, maximum 6 people on a tour. Our groups are kept small so you will have the best possible experience.
What's included: Whitewater kayak, paddle and all kit hire including wetsuit, helmet, life vest, spray skirt and spray jacket; transport by minibus from our school to the river and back. Free sauna to warm up after the tour in our onsite forest sauna! We also have a limited number of inflatable kayaks (aka ducky) so even if you are not that experienced you can still enjoy the thrill of whitewater!
What to bring: 2 x layers of wool thermals, 2 x towels, swimwear and a warm change of clothes, water bottle, snacks and sunscreen.
Getting here: The nearest train station is Vinstra (only 3 hours from Oslo S), and the fastest train is with SJ Nord. If you are driving, we have space for parking at the school.
Accommodation: We offer camping and cabin options from 99 kr per person per night.
